East African Data Handlers Ltd the leading data recovery and computer forensic center currently has the following positions available within its organization.

Overall objective: This talented individual will be a creative problem solver familiar with the latest media specifications & software and undaunted by difficult recoveries. We need someone who dreams in ones and zeros, who knows the hardware and is able to come up with troubleshooting solutions that work.
Duties and Responsibilities;
o Hard Disk Recovery Techniques
o High level administration and support of systems
o Planning of systems to ensure optimal operation
o Telephone support and troubleshooting
o High level design and implementation of backup solutions
o Implementation of customer solutions
o 2nd level support to Customer Support Engineers
o Disaster recovery planning and implementation
o Generation and implementation of systems disaster recovery plan
o Documentation of system process and procedures
o Working with technical team in implementing different project as may rise.
o Assisting Network Engineers on different sites
o Any other job may be assigned by Technical Manager and/or Management.

Skills and Competencies
• Minimum Computer Science / BSC IT Degree/ College Diploma
• Working experience in a System Administration or Technical support ,engineer roles
• Working Experience in an ISP operation will be an added advantage
• Competence in handling LINUX Systems and Windows Servers
• Experience in data storage solutions like RAID, Data backup, disaster recovery and computer forensic is a must have
• Knowledge in IT System Networking and hard drives
•Advanced knowledge of UNIX / ZENIX, Novell, PC-DOS & Macintosh is required
